Super affordable off season, really great views on the third floor, and tons to do around the hotel
Lovers Point Inn is a nice place to stay. Right across the street from the ocean and beautiful park. The rooms were nice and well prepared. We had an ocean view. Quiet at night. Office was friendly and accommodating. We will be back.
Cute hotel most have ocean views but the ocean is literally steps away but you can't hear waves. There are no blackout curtains and it is near a busy street so you'll hear cars all the time unless you close window. The bed was not comfortable but the pillows were. Tub and toilet in same room. The sink is very low in the bedroom and there is a cute chair they put we used to brush our teeth and get ready in the morning. We saw deer from our window in the evening. Everything nearby closes early. Overall great location to beach.
From all of the reviews I read, I was so nervous about booking a stay, but let me just say that if you want to stay at a fancy hotel, this hotel is not it. We booked two nights and got the first level. The room had clean sheet, clean towels, a TV, and a small refrigerator. I was a little upset that it didn't come with a microwave like it had stated, but no big deal. The parking situation does stink. I wish they had more parking. It's so close to the lover's point Park, and we loved that. We will definitely stay again
Considering it was a last minute trip, the overall price was not bad for what you get.. the view was amazing from the 3rd floor and other guests were very respectful when it came to quiet time.. the only 2 negative things I can say about our stay are that the bed was too firm for my liking and we were a little bothered by being told, at check in, that we could have a late check out of 12pm but were contacted in our room and confronted by a young gentleman that told us there are no late check outs, he was going to make a phone call and that he would return to the room with more information. Needless to say, we were able to leave by our original late check out time of 12pm. All in all the stay was pleasant..
Very affordable room! Great location, very close to beach and good food options. 10 min walk to downtown Pacific grove. Hotel and room was old and outdated, but staff was friendly!
I did not have high expectations for this hotel but it was pretty great for what we needed and what we paid. We stayed for 4 nights and the location was perfect- right in the middle of Monterey and Carmel. The beach is right outside and the trail to the left leads to views of the otters and seals in the mornings. The TVs could use an upgrade but that's not we were there for. The elevator was super helpful. The garage was a little odd and did have some oily substance on the ground that I did slip on a couple times. The exit to the underground parking was closed but it never got too crowded so it wasn't an issue. We'd come back
